The Journey of Preparation

FAITH BOOSTER:

“A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
(Proverbs 16:9, NKJV) !
[Dec. 13, 2019]

WORD OF FAITH:

“A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
(Proverbs 16:9, NKJV)

Oftentimes, God will use our experiences in life as stepping stones to prepare us for what He has in store next. Scripture tells us that He’ll even take the things the enemy tries to bring against us and turn them around and use them for our good. He is always leading us on a journey of preparation.

That’s why it’s so important to keep our eyes focused on Him. We have to trust that when we are submitted to Him—even if we don’t understand—He is ordering our steps. If something is not happening on your timetable, remind yourself, “God knows what He is doing. He has my best interest at heart. God is preparing me.” While you’re waiting, don’t make the mistake of trying to figure everything out. If you’re constantly trying to figure things out, that will only frustrate you. Turn it over to God. Declare, “God, my times are in Your hands. I’m not going to worry because I trust that You are leading me on a journey of preparation for all the wonderful blessings You have in store for me.”

PRAYER OF FAITH:

Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust that You are leading and guiding me. I trust that You are preparing me for all the wonderful blessings You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Closer Than You Think

hebrews-10-35

FAITH BOOSTER:

Closer Than You Think ! [Nov. 25, 2019]

WORD OF FAITH:

“Do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.”
(Hebrews 10:35, NIV)

Have you been praying and believing for something that seems like it’s taking a lot longer than you thought? Many times, people can miss God’s best simply because they give up before they see their “due season” come. Don’t let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer is closer than you think. If it seems like things are getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity heats up, that means you are closer to your victory. It always seems darkest just before the dawn arrives.

We serve a faithful God, and He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf. Don’t cast away your confidence today because your reward is coming. And just like a new mother forgets about her labor pain once she is finally holding her newborn, you’ll forget about your struggle when you are holding on to your promise. While you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Wake up every morning and say out loud, “I’ve come too far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap my harvest.” Stay in faith and look for His hand of blessing because He has promised you victory, and it’s closer than you think!

PRAYER OF FAITH:

Father in heaven, today I stand believing that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your strength to stand in faith until I see every promise fulfilled in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Confess & Get Rid Of The Guilt

FAITH BOOSTER:

Confess & Get Rid Of The Guilt [Mar.11, 2015]

 WORD OF FAITH:

“Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us” (Matthew 6:12 ).

We all make mistakes. We all have regrets. It’s not very hard to admit you’re not perfect. So what do we do when we fall short?

I was listening to a psychologist on the T.V. recently. A guy called in and was pouring his heart out about how guilty he felt for things he had done wrong. He asked, “How can I get rid of my guilt?” This psychologist said: “You can’t. You’ve got to learn to live with it.” I almost shouted back: “Wait a minute! Give me that guy’s phone number! He doesn’t have to go through life filled with guilt!”

There is no reason in the world you have to live with guilt. God has given us a way to get rid of guilt. It’s called confession. God promises that when we confess, He forgives us instantly, totally, completely, freely, and continuously. If a Christian is carrying guilt around, it’s because they’re not taking advantage of what Jesus Christ did on the cross. Give God your guilt. Doing this, asking for pardon, is the next step in making contact with God.

God wants to forgive you. You don’t have to beg for forgiveness: “God, please, please…..” You don’t have to bargain: “God, if You forgive me, I will never do it again.” You don’t have to bribe: “God, if You’ll forgive me, I promise to always read my Bible.” You simply believe you are forgiven.

If you ever run out of things to pray about, just get specific about your sins and weaknesses. When I talk with God about my weaknesses and sins, I never lack for subject matter. In fact, I’m always coming up with new material! There’s plenty of things to talk about in my life that need to be changed.

God extends forgiveness to everyone, but we have to do our part to receive the forgiveness. In Psalm 32, it says that you are blessed when your transgressions, or sins, are forgiven.

DECLARATION OF FAITH:

Father, Thank You For The Promise Of Blessing In My Life. I Open My Heart To You And Ask That You Cleanse Me Of Anything That Isn’t Pleasing To You. Search Me And Show Me If There Is Any Unforgiveness In My Heart So That I Can Release It And Walk In Your Blessing For Me Today In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Give hope, prayer, and encouragement below. Post a comment & talk about it.

Only God Can Provide

FAITH BOOSTER:

Only God Can Provide [Mar.05, 2015]

 WORD OF FAITH:

“Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won’t he also surely give us everything else?” Romans 8:32

The major cause of stress in your life is worry. You worry because you wonder if you will have what you need when you need it. But anytime you expect other people to meet your needs instead of God, you’re going to be frustrated and disappointed, because nobody can meet all your needs. Only God can meet all your needs.

If you want a cure for stress, you need to learn to look to God to meet your needs.

Some people find their security in their job, and when they lose their job, they lose their peace of mind.

Others put their security in their marriage. Then their spouse dies or they go through a divorce, and they ask, “Who am I? What is my identity?”

Or maybe you put your security in your money. There are a lot of ways to lose your money.

I recommend that you never put your security in anything that can be taken away from you. You can lose your job, your health, your reputation, your spouse, and your mind. But you cannot lose your relationship to Christ.

When you put your security in that promise, you can trust God to meet all your needs.

Romans 8:32 says, “Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won’t he also surely give us everything else?”

If God loved you enough to send Jesus Christ to die on the cross, don’t you think he loves you enough to take care of every other need in your life? Yes! Of course he does.

Every time you start to get stressed out, you need to pause and say, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1 ESV).

God’s going to provide. He’s going to take care of you. Instead of stressing out, you need to look to him to meet all your needs.

DECLARATION OF FAITH:

I Trust God With All My Heart

THOUGHT BOOSTER:

How do you normally react when you have a major need in your life?

What do you need in your life today? Do you trust God to provide for it?

What kinds of things do you think God wants to give you?

What do you think he wants you to do with those things?

Give hope, prayer, and encouragement below. Post a comment & talk about it.
